Meet Dr. Mary

Hello! I look forward to meeting you! Here is a little bit about me.

Hello! I look forward to meeting you! Here is a little bit about me.  I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Illinois University and graduated with honors from Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture earning a Master of Science degree. I went on to complete my Doctorate degree at the Pacific College of Health and Sciences. As a student, I served an internship at a hospital in Chengdu, China. While in China, study and travel opportunities took me to Tibet and rural Szechuan Province towns and villages. This experience helped me gain invaluable knowledge and insight to the ancient practice of Acupuncture.

I have been an Arizona Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) and hold a Diplomate in Acupuncture designation (Dipl. Ac) with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) since 2003. I am very active in the advancement of my chosen profession of Acupuncture and formerly served on the Board of Directors of Arizona Society of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture (AZSOMA) for 4 years.

My passion for the healing arts started when I began a personal quest of living my own holistic lifestyle. This is evident by my genuine approach in motivating my patients to choose a healthy balanced way of life. In addition to treating the physical aspects of the human condition, I am skilled in recognizing and addressing the importance of emotional healing required to reach ones optimal health. One of my greatest joys is witnessing patients’ health and quality of life advance to higher levels.

I love hiking daily with my dogs, am an avid mountain and road biker, like to kayak and am a voracious reader. Around the home, I am very passionate about organic cooking and gardening. Food for my soul is filled with the practice of meditation and yoga.

My life calling: “Helping people heal naturally.”
